Yoga Increases Lean Muscle Mass & Trains Your Muscles To Work More Efficiently

Yoga works isometrically to develop a longer and leaner muscle mass in the body. The work and intention in yoga is to hug muscle to bone.  Rather than creating bulky, shortened muscle tissue, yoga poses place the origin and the insertion of the muscle apart to create longer more sinewy/sexy and lean muscle mass.Yoga increases muscle

Yoga works progressively, in stages to prepare the body and the internal organs to lengthen safely and gently. This creates a relaxation response to the muscle fibers which allows them to get longer. When the muscles are in this extended state, the body then moves with its own body weight against gravity to create strength. The digestive heat in the body then increases to burn away fat.

In order to increase lean muscle mass, you must create the optimum environment within your body. Yoga does this automatically.

Yoga increases the internal temperature of the body. You start to increase your metabolism. Then, the postures stretch the origin of the muscle away from the point of insertion to create length in the muscle fibers. Lastly, body weight is used against gravity to strengthen the muscles. All of these actions help to burn fat and increase lean muscle mass.

At the same time yoga Trains Your Muscles To Work More Efficiently

Most of our lives are spent in our outter body. We damage our skin, we puff out our chests, we stick out our bellies, we over extend our hip flexor muscles. At the very least, we end up with stiff low backs and wrinkles. However, we can go so far as to damage disks in the low back, overstretch our skin by the amount of weight we have gained, or put fatal pressure on our inner organs. Yoga counterbalances this tendency. Yoga retrains our deepest, most internal muscles to support us.

When we work from our larger, peripheral set of muscles, we can actually feel more fatigued and listless than ever. Yoga works from the deep inner structure of the body so that we start to feel refreshed and revitalized. Yoga trains the tranverse abdominus muscles to support the spine and back through the core, instead of relying on the hip flexors and larger rectus abdominal muscles.

You will also start to lengthen your hip flexor muscles so that you can stand taller with less effort. Your hamstrings will be longer so that you can bend with more ease and comfort. Your breathing muscles will be more open and stronger so that you can breathe in more oxygen.

Yoga will bring the body into a state of balance.

This balance of strength and flexibility will ease your movements. Creating ease in the body through the physical postures of yoga will ease the mind. Your muscles will be less strained and stronger at the same time. You will work more efficiently so that there will be less stress on your organs, your heart, and your nervous system.

You will feel better.

The Yoga Weight Loss System guides you along your weight loss journey with yoga. Charry explains step by step, the how and why and demonstrates the correct poses through full-color pictures and video!
