How you approach one thing, you approach everything. And while this adage really applies in all areas of your life, let’s only focus on what that means when you are wearing your real estate investor hat. In that role only, are your approach and what you are doing working and producing the results you want?

Simply put, the results you are after depend in no small measure on your mindset. Real estate investing is a profession and not for the faint of heart and it is also about loving people, learning, having fun, and making money. Assuming that this describes you, please read on.

You my already be familiar with the real estate gurus, like Laurel Langemeier, Bob Diamond, Robert Allen, Ron LeGrand, Robert Kiyosaki and a number of others. Learning from these folks and especially engaging them as your real estate investing coach, will accelerate your learning, increase your profits, and afford you the live you desire.

Be aware that you can either be the lone ranger type and do it all yourself or get the support needed to be successful from the get-go. Both have price tags and in my experience doing the former has a higher price tag. Of course, the choice is yours. In either case, mastering the real estate investor mindset is essential and here are its components:

· Focus

· Planning

· Optimism

· Persistence

· Tenacity

· Loves people

· Serves

· Integrity

· Learns from others

· Pacing

· Always improves

Now that you know what the mindset encompasses, which of these do you already have, which could you stand improvement on, which do you have to acquire. Then come up with a plan as to how to do it and begin to love the process.

Remember, everything counts.
